Swiss unemployment rate stable, inflation surge
October 10, 2017The newest economy data from Switzerland brought bitter-sweet results as jobless rate remains quite stable, but inflation accelerated. Swiss Franc exchange rate showed mixed trading against major currencies ahead of unemployment rate results’ publication, but no major alteration should occur as the rate marginally missed expectations.

October 02, 2017The beginning of October saw the euro in not-so-great shape – the currency got weaker against the US dollar. EUR/USD pair was on 1,1730 at the lowest point during Monday, October 2nd. The main reason for that was the Catalonia independence vote conducted on Sunday. Any instability in the eurozone – both political and economic – prompts investors to sell euro and buy Swiss Francs, US dollars or Japanese yens instead.
