Euro franc exchange rate falls below the 1,103 mark

This is the lowest exchange rate in two years. In the spring of 2017, the franc appreciated compared to the euro after being below 1.10 for a longer period of time and continued to rise over the course of 12 months to the 1.20 limit set by the SNB 2016 as the EUR CHF lower limit. But for a year now, the exchange rate has been falling again and is now approaching the 1.10 level. According to experts, this is the new unofficial lower limit set by the SNB, below which the SNB begins to intervene in the market by buying euros and selling francs to weaken the Swiss franc.
